Sam Cavanna's Eagle Leadership Project

My project was building and installing a new information board at the entrance of the Greenburgh Nature Center. In addition to creating the information board, the project involved removing an old board and clean-up of the area where the board was installed. The Greenburgh Nature Center is a 33-acre green space located off Central Avenue in Greenburgh. The Nature Center Nature provides educational programs, seasonal nature camps, family programs, hiking trails and is home to over 100 animals. This new information board is being used by the Nature Center to provide essential information to visitors. I chose to work with the Nature Center because it is a place I have visited many times, whether for birthday parties, school trips, or prior Eagle Scout projects.
